Gashdov is a diety worshipped in Verilon, a sub-arctic kingdom in North Timandra. An ancient being, Gashdov takes the form of a massive bear. Once free to roam the forest and protect his realm, Gashdov has been captured by the people of Verilon and now lives within the capital city of Orewood.
According to Verilish mythology, Gashdov has gone mad, forgotten his name, and can no longer protect Verilion. A man named Kava Or is prophesized to rise at Verilon's greatest hour of need, tame Gashdov, and return the bear to sanity, enabling the diety to defend Verilon again.
